Breece Hall out for season with torn ACL

The worst fears of the New York Jets and their fans were realized on the first day of the midweek. 

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero (h/t Nick Shook) reported Monday that Jets star rookie running back Breece Hall will miss the rest of the season after an MRI confirmed he suffered a torn ACL during Sunday’s 16-9 win at the Denver Broncos.

The update is hardly surprising, as Jets head coach Robert Saleh admitted shortly after Sunday’s contest that the initial diagnosis regarding Hall’s setback was “not good.” ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Rich Cimini noted Hall is also dealing with a minor meniscus injury.
