Finally, we have something in common with Russell Wilson.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback, 32, had four wisdom teeth removed, and his wife, Ciara — in the tradition of wives immemorial — filmed him while he was still loopy from anesthesia, posting the clips to Instagram Sunday.
A very groggy Wilson, dressed in the finest post-op comfort outfit of sweats, a hat and sunglasses, was rolled out of a medical facility in a wheelchair, and about the only thing we can make out from him (thanks to Ciara’s caption) is “my lips hurt.”
Maybe the NFL star can trade some post-op tips with Brad Pitt, who recently went under to have his own wisdom teeth taken out.
Wilson and Ciara, 35, opened up to GQ in February about their relationship, downplaying the pressure that the “1, 2 Step” singer’s famous ex Future brought to the early stages of their union.
“I think it was easy for us,” the athlete said. “I think it was about us. It wasn’t about anything else. It was about how we were going to love, and for me it was easy. It was easy to love. It’s easy to love C – every day I get to love her and take care of her and our kids is the greatest gift I have.”
Wilson and Ciara met in 2015 in the middle of her and Future’s bitter custody battle over their then-1-year-old son, also named Future. The rapper, 37, made his contempt for Ciara and Wilson’s relationship clear online and went so far as to threaten the Super Bowl champ, according to a $15 million defamation lawsuit filed in 2016.
Wilson and Ciara married in 2016 and went on to welcome a daughter, Sienna Princess, 4, and a son, Win Harrison, who was born in July 2020.
