Ford Tells Bronco Customers To “Hang In There” By Gifting Hammocks

Pent-up agitation towards the ongoing Ford Bronco delays can be counteracted with some relaxation outside, enjoying the breeze, the sounds of nature, and daydreams of all the adventures that await the day Bronco customers receive their orders. Ford has sent out a gift to create some relaxation during the frustrating wait times that customers are experiencing, as Bronco production trickles out.

Anyone following news regarding Ford Bronco delays would already know that the launch hasn’t gone as smoothly as anyone would have liked. From hardtop quality issues causing delays until the company can replace roofs for Broncos customers have already received, to supply problems caused by COVID, Ford is struggling to catch up and has even pressed the pause button on their online orders. Ford has also halted online orders to slow the number of reservations coming in until they can lower the wait time between placing an order and receiving the Bronco.

“Hang In There” Pun Intended

Hammock bags with Ford Bronco-themed badges printed onto them have popped up on Social Media that read “Built To Be Wild,” “Yellowstone,” “Outer Banks,” “Tread Lightly,” “Bronco Nation,” and more. It seems that Ford started sending out the hammocks earlier this month. The package comes with a note titled “Hang In There” and a personalized message with instructions on using the hammock. The hammock has a capacity of 400-pounds and measures 9 feet by 5 feet.

Some Customers Aren’t Amused

It doesn’t seem like all customers are thrilled by the Ford Bronco hammock. Many have appeared on eBay between $50 to $300, but the average is around $100. This is just one of many gestures made by Ford as they reward their customers for being patient as they work to resolve the current issues they are having. In addition, with the Hammock customers, waiting will receive $300 they can use towards accessorizing their Ford Bronco SUVs when they take their deliveries.
