Gabrielle Union arrived for a taping of “The Tamron Hall Show” in New York City on Sept. 15 in this disastrous combo — a fuzzy blue cropped hoodie and a white miniskirt covered in sequins and lace. Adding insult to injury? She finished the fashion faux pas off with pointy-toe heels.

Pretty in pink! Dove Cameron arrived in style at the Bvlgari x B.Zero1 Party during New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8 in a long-sleeved midi-length frock from Alex Perry. And when it came time to style it, she rocked a white clutch and shiny black sandals.

Remember Bjork’s infamous swan dress? Well, “Riverdale” star Madelaine Petsch has served up a flamingo dress! The actress donned the black and pink Moschino mini featuring one long sleeve, ruching and a pretty intense bird motif down the center — complete with feathered wings — during New York Fashion Week on Sept. 9. And if the flamingo wasn’t wacky enough, she added some bold earrings to the mix too. Keep reading to see them…

When it came time to add accessories, Madelaine Petsch didn’t shy away from a bold choice. The star rocked hot pink drop earrings that didn’t quite match the pink of the Moschino flamingo, making for a strange pick.

Gorgeous! Heidi Klum rocked a killer yellow pantsuit by Elie Saab at an “America’s Got Talent” taping on Sept. 7. We loved the shade, the belt detail and the addition of bellbottom pants to give it a retro feel.

Kacey Musgraves attended the 2021 VMAs on Sept. 12 in this massive miss. The star’s Valentino garb included a sleeveless purple minidress paired with red over-the-elbow gloves, a purple feathered headpiece and clear strappy sandals.

Sienna Miller wowed at the Met Gala on Sept. 13 in this dreamy Gucci getup. The star sported a beautiful massive pink feathered coat on top of an equally stunning long-sleeved gown covered in embroidered sequined lace in a floral motif.

Kristen Stewart scored a miss with her Chanel ensemble at the Venice Film Festival premiere of “Spencer” on Sept. 3. The mint green shade was lovely, but the odd pairing of a minidress with sheer trousers lost us. Both pieces included lace trim in the same shade, but still felt like an unfortunate set of coordinates.

Shay Mitchell rocked (and matched!) the red carpet at the MTV VMAs on Sept. 12 in a structured Nikita Karizma minidress with a bold all-over print. She added a red clutch and strappy metallic sandals to complete her look.

Whoopi Goldberg made a real statement at the Met Gala on Sept. 14, arriving in this wild purple Valentino robe. The ruffled piece was paired with an equally bright and bold teal gown and the fashion disaster was completed with lime green elbow-length gloves. Yikes!

Ellie Goulding opted for a lilac number by Boss at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Sept. 1. The singer’s midi-length frock was a lovely shade, but she lost us with the strange silhouette — a cape-like detail on one side and a long sleeve on the other. She paired it with mint green heels — an odd color combo. 

Kate Hudson showed off some fabulous fashion during the Venice Film Festival this month, but her pick at the “Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon” photocall on Sept. 5 didn’t fare well. She opted for a bizarre tan Dior long-sleeved top underneath a wrinkled linen dress in a similar shade for a subdued and unfortunate ensemble that seemed very out of character for the gregarious star.

Minnie Driver’s “Cinderella” premiere look in London on Sept. 2 scored the star a fashion hit. Her frock from The Vampire’s Wife included short sleeves and plenty of ruffles in a dreamy emerald green shade.

Another darling dress from The Vampire’s Wife — this time, appropriately, on former “Twilight” vampire Elizabeth Reaser! The star attended the premiere of FX’s “Impeachment: American Crime Story” in Los Angeles on Sept. 1 in this sweet white floral number. From the ruffled sleeves to the high-neck detail to the ruffled hemline, we loved the details plus the pretty print. She added a blue clutch by Jimmy Choo for a pop of color and Prada shoes to complete her chic look.

Irina Shayk arrived at the Bvlgari x B.Zero1 Party during New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8 in, well, this odd getup. From the tie-dye baggy cargo pants to the bright orange corset-style bodysuit, there wasn’t one element of this ensemble that we liked.

Eiza Gonzalez was a vision in red at the Met Gala on Sept. 13. The actress donned a Versace gown that included a halter-style neckline, a thigh-high slit and one over-the-elbow glove for a little extra drama.

We were disappointed by typically stylish star Sarah Paulson’s showing at the premiere of FX’s “Impeachment: American Crime Story” in Los Angeles on Sept. 1. The actress arrived in this metallic Alexandre Vauthier dress with all-over embellishments that read both purple, green and silver depending on the light. She accessorized with simple black sandals and a black clutch by Tyler Ellis.

We loved Camila Cabello’s MTV VMAs look on Sept. 12! The star arrived in a hot pink and red strapless confection from Alexis Mabille that included a massive bow detail at the waist.

You might not believe it, but Lily-Rose Depp’s Met Gala set was Chanel. The young star arrived at the event on Sept. 13 in this ’90s-ready duo — a strapless crop top and matching skirt with an impossibly low waist. We weren’t wild about the strange silhouette or the odd black belt detail that hung from waist to hemline.

Kate Bosworth attended the Marc Cain show during Berlin Fashion Week on Sept. 8 in this eye-catching pantsuit. We loved the camel shade and geometric print and the way she opted to pair the bold coordinates with an extra pop of color via that hot pink bag! She added simple strappy metallic sandals to finish off this ready-for-fall look.

Not all pantsuits are created equal! Emily Hampshire’s equally bold choice is a great example. We loved the idea of stripes — and pairing it with a blousy white top — but the baggy trousers and sneakers lost us.

Beanie Feldstein arrived at the “Impeachment: American Crime Story” premiere in Los Angeles on Sept. 1 in this fun Brandon Maxwell design. Her sleeveless number featured an all-over lip print and paired perfectly with fun red platform sandals. 

Idina Menzel wowed in hot pink gown by Zhivago at the “America’s Got Talent” finale in Los Angeles on Sept. 15, 2021. We loved the structured shoulders and the subtle mermaid-style flare of the skirt on this bright and fitted frock.
