Channing Tatum can do it all. The 42-year-old Hollywood hunk dances, acts, writes children’s books, and, above all, is a doting dad. The “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” actor is a loving father to his daughter, Everly Tatum, whom he coparents with ex-wife Jenna Dewan. The former couple welcomed their only child into the world in 2013, and though the two officially split in 2018, their daughter has remained a top priority for the pair.
Touching on his divorce and role as a father, Tatum revealed to Vanity Fair in February that his daughter helped him grow as a person, saying, “It just started with my daughter. I just dropped everything and just focused on her. And it was truly the best possible thing that I ever could have done. Because in the alone time that I have with just me and her, we’ve become best friends.”
Tatum is so proud and inspired by his relationship with his daughter that he wrote a children’s book with her in mind. “The One and Only Sparkella,” released in 2021, tells the story of a young girl who strives to shine with the help of her dad.
