On April 3, Naomi, 28 — a lawyer who’s the daughter of Hunter Biden and first wife Kathleen Buhle — revealed the exciting news via Twitter, writing, “Peter and I are endlessly grateful to my Nana and Pop for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at the White House. We can’t wait to make our commitment to one another official and for what lies ahead.” First lady Dr. Jill Biden’s press secretary, Michael LaRosa, told The Associated Press that the family is “still in the planning stages of all the wedding festivities” nd that “consistent with other private events hosted by the first family and following the traditions of previous White House wedding festivities in prior administrations, the Biden family will be paying for the wedding activities that occur at the White House.” Peter, 24 — who’s in his final semester of law school at the University of Pennsylvania — proposed in the fall of 2021 after about four years of dating. The last White House wedding took place in the Rose Garden in 2013 when President Barack Obama’s official photographer, Pete Souza, married Patti Lease. In 2008, President George W. Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush and her husband, Henry Hager, had their wedding reception at the White House too, according to the White House Historical Association.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker exchanged vows in Las Vegas in the early hours of April 4, outlets including TMZ and People reported. The couple of a little more than a year showed up to Sin City’s One Love Wedding Chapel shortly after attending the 2022 Grammy Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena nearby. The chapel’s owner, Marty Frierson, told People that Kourtney and Travis “requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory” as their officiant. Speculation that the ceremony, which lasted about 30 minutes, wasn’t legal turned out to be true: On April 6, Kourtney confirmed they did not have a marriage license for the impromptu nuptials. “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect,” she captioned a series of photos from their ceremony on Instagram.

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife-to-be, actress and heiress Nicola Peltz, have signed a prenuptial agreement, the Mail on Sunday reported on April 3. Nicola’s family has an estimated fortune of $1.6 billion while Brooklyn’s parents — David Beckham and Victoria Beckham — have an estimated net worth of $496 million. News of the prenup deal came days before the couple’s ceremony and reception — which the Mail on Sunday reported is costing $3.9 million — was set to be held at Nicola’s family’s 44,000-square-foot $99.3 million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend of April 9. The wedding will be a star-studded occasion with celebrities including Gordon Ramsay, Eva Longoria and Victoria’s Spice Girls bandmate Melanie Brown reportedly on the guest list.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s relationship is getting more serious. On April 4, TMZ reported that, according to sources connected to Pete, Kim recently made another trip to New York City and while she was there visiting the “Saturday Night Live” star, he took her to meet his grandparents at their home in Staten Island when he finished a film shoot nearby. While in his hometown borough, Kim also reportedly met members of Pete’s inner circle. Another sign things are more serious? Kim has introduced Pete to at least one of the four children she shares with ex-husband Kanye West. On April 3, Pete was photographed driving Kim’s pink Moke car around Scott Disick’s gated community with Kim and Kanye’s eldest child, North West, on his lap (TMZ has the photos); Kim’s niece Penelope Disick also in the vehicle. On top of that, Kim’s former stepparent Caitlyn Jenner revealed on the “Full Send” podcast on April 6 that Kim recently introduced her to Pete — Kim brought him to Caitlyn’s home in Malibu. Jon Batiste — who took home five trophies at the 2022 Grammys on April 3 including the biggest honor of the night, album of the year — quietly married Suleika Jaouad, a bestselling author and columnist, in February after eight years as a couple, they revealed to “CBS Sunday Morning” in an interview that aired on April 3. “We got married the day before I was admitted to the hospital to undergo my bone marrow transplant” following her second leukemia diagnosis, the “Between Two Kingdoms” author told CBS. After their “tiny” wedding, during which they exchanged bread ties instead of rings, “we walked into that bone marrow transplant unit on cloud nine,” Suleika said. “We were so happy, so brimming with love and positivity from this beautiful evening that we’d had. And I really believe that that carried us through.”

On April 1, The Sun reported that Oscar-nominated actor Andrew Garfield and model Alyssa Miller — who were first publicly linked in the fall of 2021 — had called it quits. “Andrew and Alyssa were a really beautiful couple and things were going great at first. According to the Netflix personality’s lawyer, Autumn Blackledge, Joe found love with another man behind bars — John Graham. The webloid reported that Joe met John in February 2021 while they were both locked up at FMC Fort Worth in Texas. John, who was released in March, was in prison for burglary and possession of a firearm and had been sentenced in 2012.
