I can’t help the fact that my best mate’s fiancée is obsessed with me

It’s so awkward. I’m 31 with a girlfriend of 29 and my mate’s girlfriend is 33.

When my girlfriend and I had a brief separation recently, the woman held my gaze for a bit too long and said, “I’m sure you’ll find somebody else.”

I felt really uncomfortable.

When we’ve been out for dinner in a big group, I catch her staring at me and she makes unnecessary moves to touch me.

I’ve even talked to my friend about it and he says, “You both flirt with one another” but I swear, I do nothing to lead her on.

I’m starting to feel like I don’t want to be around her.

How do I tell her I’m not interested without an embarrassing conversation?
