5 years after the launch of a Motörhead branded whisky, the fortieth anniversary of Ace Of Spades is being marked by the manufacturing of a restricted batch of cask power bourbon.
The brand new enterprise is a collaboration between International Brews – the branding company behind such alcoholic delights as Iron Maiden’s ‘Trooper’ beer, Standing Quo’s ‘Piledriver’ ale, Slayer’s ‘Reign In Blood’ wine and Ghost’s Juniper Gin – and Hillrock, an award-winning distillery based in New York’s Hudson Valley.
The producers describe the bourbon as, “A lush and velvety expression of Hillrock’s Solera Aged Bourbon amplified by this undiluted proof. Specifically chosen for its delicate steadiness of proof and flavour, in addition to its extremely lengthy end. A very decanter worthy bottling.”
