Paris Jackson reveals she suffers hallucinations, ‘severe paranoia’ as a result of press attention
While growing up in the spotlight of her late father, Michael Jackson’s fame, Paris Jackson was subjected to so much paparazzi attention that she now suffers severe anxiety and trauma. “I experience auditory hallucinations, sometimes, with camera clicks and severe paranoia and have been going to therapy for a lot of things, but that included,” the model and singer-songwriter, 23, shares with Willow Smith on the next edition of “Red Table Talk,” according to the Associated Press. “I’ll hear a trash bag rustling and flinch in panic. I think it’s standard PTSD,” Paris adds. The new episode of Jada Pinkett Smith’s popular Facebook Watch series features a candid conversation between Paris and Willow, 20, about their experiences as kids with famous parents, and how some of those things have shaped the way they lead their lives as young adults. (Paris, for example, reveals she asks guests in her house to sign non-disclosure agreements in the interest of maintaining a degree of privacy at home.) As Willow explains in the intro, the pair met on the set of Jada’s show, “Hawthorne” and quickly hit it off. Per the AP, the pair’s chat also delves into topics including sexuality, music and their relationships with family members. The new episode airs on Facebook June 16.

A$AP Rocky gushes about Rihanna’s support at Swedish arrest doc premiere: ‘I’m honestly truly blessed’
Rihanna’s beau, rapper A$AP Rocky, shared another round of praise for the singer over the weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival, where he premiered “Stockholm Syndrome,” a new documentary about his controversial arrest and imprisonment in Sweden in 2019. The film details “Rocky’s experience with the inequities of the Swedish judicial system and the dangers of stardom and scapegoating,” according to the festival website. And as the rapper, born Rakim Mayers, told ET at the premiere, Rihanna encouraged and supported him as he opened up to the filmmakers about his experience. Asked about the importance of having Rihanna support for the film, which she makes two appearances in, Rocky said it’s “important having that support in real life,” before calling his supportive relationship with Rihanna “amazing.” Added the rapper: “I’m honestly truly blessed, for real.” The movie offers a closer look at the violent altercation Rocky and two members of his entourage had with two men in the streets of Stockholm in late June 2019. Rocky has said the men were following them and refused to stop even after they asked. At some point a fight broke out, and Rocky was arrested and thrown in prison, where he remained for a month, spending time in solitary confinement. Looking ahead, Rocky said he’s focused on sharing his life and artistic expression with Rihanna. Speaking to GQ earlier this year, the rapper hinted that Rihanna’s involved with his forthcoming album.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton spark secret wedding buzz
Did Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton finally — and secretly — tie the knot? It definitely looks that way in photos of Gwen, Blake and Gwen’s son, Apollo, taken in Santa Monica on June 12. The pics, published by Page Six, show what looks like a new diamond wedding band sitting right beside the engagement ring Blake slipped on her finger in October. The new ring pics also happened to have been shot just one day after Gwen posted a picture of herself on Instagram in which she clutches a white-wrapped gift while sipping wine beneath the caption, “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEED.” The all-emoji caption? A blonde bride icon, followed by the sign for woman, a ring and a smiley face surrounded by hearts. Adding to the secret wedding buzz is the fact that, according to Page Six, the new ring pics were snapped shortly after the singers got back to Los Angeles from Oklahoma, where Blake owns a ranch … the same ranch where Blake reportedly built a chapel that the couple planned to use for their wedding, according to an Us Weekly source. Gwen, 51, and Blake, 44, reportedly started dating in 2015.

Chrissy Teigen breaks silence on past cyberbullying: ‘I was a troll and I’m so sorry’
One month after she apologized publicly to Courtney Stodden for posting abusive tweets about the former reality star, Chrissy Teigen published a long piece on Medium on June 14 addressing her past cyberbullying, which reportedly extended beyond Courtney to Lindsay Lohan and Farrah Abraham. The post opens with Chrissy acknowledging the resurfaced tweets and telling readers she’s had a “VERY humbling few weeks” while “sitting in a hole of deserved global punishment.” Chrissy writes that she’s felt “the crushing weight of regret” for her posts and is “truly ashamed” of what she’s posted about and to others. The cookbook author and model goes on to write, “I’ve apologized publicly to one person, but there are others — and more than just a few — who I need to say I’m sorry to. I’m in the process of privately reaching out to the people I insulted.” She says that her targets, “needed empathy, kindness, understanding and support, not my meanness masquerading as a kind of casual, edgy humor,” and later admits, “I was a troll, full stop. And I am so sorry. Looking back, Chrissy says she now sees that what she thought was “snark” that made her “relatable” at the time was actually the result of her own insecurity and immaturity. Now, having gone through lots of therapy, gotten married and had children, she writes that she’s not the same person she was when she said the things she did. “I’m more understanding of what motivates trolling — the instant gratification that you get from lashing out and clapping back, throwing rocks at someone you think is invincible because they’re famous,” Chrissy writes. “Also, I know now how it feels to be on the receiving end of incredible vitriol. Believe me, the irony of this is not lost on me.” In conclusion, Chrissy vows to “keep working to be the best version of myself for EVERYONE,” adding, “We are all more than our worst moments. … I won’t ask for your forgiveness, only your patience and tolerance. I ask that you allow me, as I promise to allow you, to own past mistakes and be given the opportunity to seek self improvement and change.”
Beyoncé shares a sweet birthday message for her twins
In the past year, Beyoncé’s made a habit of posting “happy birthday” greetings to inspiring people, from Billie Holliday to Lizzo to Britney Spears to Breonna Taylor. On June 13, however, Bey celebrated the birthdays of two extra-special people on her website — the twins she shares with husband JAY-Z, who turned 4 that day. “What’s better than 1 gift… 2,” Beyoncé wrote on her homepage, adding, “Happy birthday Rumi & Sir.” While Bey’s birthday scroll usually features throwback photos of the birthday girls and boys being honored, the often private mother of three opted not to share a pic of her little ones. But she did open up to Vogue recently about some of the ways she and Rumi, Sir and their 8-year-old sister, Blue, handled the coronavirus pandemic as a family. “During quarantine, fashion was a place of escape for me,” she explained. “My kids and I came up with Fashion Fridays. Every Friday, we would dress up in my clothes or make clothes together and take each other’s pictures. It became a ritual for us and an opportunity to handle this crazy year together.”
Ben Affleck is reportedly getting to know Jennifer Lopez’s kids
Having spent much of the past few weeks rekindling his onetime romance with Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck is now getting to know Max and Emme, the twins she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. The 13-year-olds hung out with their mom’s on-again beau over the weekend when the whole group hit Nobu in Malibu, California, on June 13, to celebrate Jennifer’s sister, Lynda Lopez’s birthday, according to People. “Everyone seemed great and had fun,” a restaurant source told the outlet. The insider also noted Jen and Ben “sat next to each other and were very affectionate,” holding hands subtly beneath the table and at sharing a kiss at one point. “The kids kept chatting with Ben. Ben seemed great. He was smiling and laughing,” the source said. Ben shares co-parenting duties with his ex, as well. The actor and Jennifer Garner are parents to Seraphina, 12, and Violet, 15, plus son Samuel, 9.
Britney Spears to appear remotely at June 23 conservatorship hearing
When Britney Spears’ ongoing conservatorship case returns to court in Los Angeles on June 23, “all parties, including Ms. Spears” will “appear remotely,” the Los Angeles County Superior Court announced this week, according to Page Six. The outlet also notes the hearing will feature a live audio feed — which will likely be popular, given that the hearing is expected to be Britney’s first direct contact with the judge handling her case. While legal experts have questioned the usefulness of keeping the 39-year-old bound to the decisions of her co-conservators, outlets including Page Six and TMZ have both reported Britney will not ask to end theconservatorship completely. Rather, she’s expected to press on with her attempt to have her father, Jamie Spears, stripped of his conservator duties altogether. “She feels that ending the conservatorship entirely can always be discussed down the road, but right now the issue is Jamie,” an insider told the paper last month. Jamie was first named a co-conservator for his daughter in 2008 when the conservatorship was established after her public breakdown. Health issues forced Jamie to be temporarily replaced from his management role over her personal affairs in 2019, but he still shares responsibility for her finances and estate with Bessemer Trust.
Queen Elizabeth reportedly has a new corgi puppy
The royal family has a new, four-legged addition, thanks to Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who reportedly gifted a six-week-old corgi puppy to Queen Elizabeth last week in honor of her 95th birthday. That’s according to The Sun, which claims the queen met the new pup on June 10, the day the monarch’s late husband, Prince Philip, would have turned 100 had he not passed away earlier this year. A lifelong fan of animals in general, but especially corgis, Queen Elizabeth reportedly lost a new puppy, Fergus, when he died unexpectedly last month. The new pooch’s name has not yet been reported, but a royal source tells The Sun, he’s expected to be “perfect company for Muick,” the queen’s other young dog, “going forward.”
Sheryl Crow recalls being sexually harassed by Michael Jackson’s manager
Sheryl Crow has spoken out in the past about the sexual harassment she was subjected to by Michael Jackson’s manager, Frank DiLeo, while on MJ’s “Bad” tour in 1987. In a new interview with The Independent, the singer, 59, reflects on what happened again, this time from the perspective of progress for women’s rights in the music industry since the advent of the MeToo movement. Describing the “long bout of sexual harassment” she endured on the road with Frank, Sheryl recalled how, as “a young person from a really small town” who was eager “to see the world and to work with arguably the greatest pop star,” she ended up getting “a crash course” the realities of the industry she was entering. “It’s really interesting to go back and revisit some of this old stuff and the experiences that went along with it, and then to compare it with where we are now,” the singer said. “To talk about it in the midst of the MeToo movement … it feels like we’ve come a long way, but it doesn’t feel like we’re quite there yet.” Sheryl detailed Frank’s behavior in her 2020 audiobook, “Words + Music,” where she wrote, “Not only was Frank promising to make me a star, he also promised that if I didn’t, that I would never work again, that he would see to it, if I ever opened my mouth.” In the Independent interview, she explained how the Frank DiLeo situation wasn’t the only time she felt exploited as a young musician. “You’ve practiced your whole life, you’ve listened to the greatest artists, you’ve played in coffee bars, and then you get out there and you learn, ‘OK, this is how the music industry works: a corporation buys so many records. It puts you in the top 10. We take your publishing,'” she said of the “disillusioning” experience. “I think when your dream bubble is burst you either go: ‘OK, well, I’m going to forget that dream,'” she added, “or you do what I did, which was wallow in it for about a year, and then you pull your bootstraps up and you get back to work.”
