Popeyes® has just announced that it is adding another item to their famed menu in Canada, the U.S., and Puerto Rico starting July 27th.
Chicken nuggets have been added to the menu in all participating Popeyes. Popeyes®’ Nuggets took the quality and flavors of the famous Chicken Sandwich and made it into poppable pieces. With this recent addition, Popeyes just might be sparking another chicken frenzy since its chicken sandwich proved to be a hot commodity.
“Just like our game-changing Chicken Sandwich, our new Chicken Nuggets are unlike anything you may have experienced before. We aim to show the world once again the magic of Popeyes® chicken with our new Nuggets. We believe that these piece(s) of crunchy, juicy delicious chicken will have guests question how they ever enjoyed chicken nuggets before this,” said Sami Siddiqui, President, Popeyes® Americas in a written statement.
The taste from the beloved Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich recipe has been replicated for the recipe of the New Popeyes® Nuggets that has started selling in the restaurants today. Popeyes® uses a special flour and batter system which provides the perfect crispy texture that consumers of Popeyes chicken Sandwich have come to love and expect. The Nuggets, made from white meat chicken breast will be available in a classic flavor and can be paired with their signature sauces like Bayou Buffalo™, BoldBQ™, Blackened Ranch, Buttermilk Ranch, Wild Honey Mustard, and Sweet Heat®.
The new Nuggets can be ordered for purchase in-store and on third-party delivery ranging from a 4 piece order up to a 36 piece order starting July 27th.

Popeyes® is freshly prepared by marinating its chicken pieces for at least 12 hours, hand-battered and breaded, then slow-cooked to perfection using a proprietary frying process.
